Quick Filters:- Status: Open, Investigating, Resolved, Closed
- Priority: Critical, High, Medium, Low
- Asset Type: Filter by equipment type
- Location: Filter by site
Reporting a Fault
From the Faults List
- Go to Faults
- Click Report Fault
- Complete the form
- Submit
From an Asset
- Open asset detail
- Click Report Fault
- Asset is pre-linked
- Enter fault details
- Submit
From a Job
- While on a job
- Find an issue
- Click Report Fault
- Job and asset linked automatically

Critical
Definition: Immediate safety hazard or complete system failure Examples:- Fire safety equipment non-functional

High
Definition: Major malfunction affecting operations Examples:- Equipment partially working

Medium
Definition: Issue requiring attention but not urgent Examples:- Reduced performance
- Maintenance needed

- Open fault detail
- Click Update Status or status field
- Select new status
- Add notes explaining change
- Save

- Open fault detail
- Find Assigned To field
- Select team member
- They receive notification
Adding Notes
Document investigation and progress:- Open fault detail
- Go to Notes section
- Click Add Note
- Enter update
- Save
Attaching Photos
- Open fault detail
- Go to Attachments tab
- Upload photos/documents
- Add descriptions
Creating Jobs from Faults
Generate Repair Job
- Open fault detail
- Click Create Job
- Job pre-populated with:
- Fault description
- Asset information
- Customer/location
- Complete job details
- Create job
Linking Existing Jobs
If a job already exists:- Open fault detail
- Click Link Job
- Search for existing job
- Select and link
Resolving Faults
Resolution Process
- Investigate: Determine root cause
- Fix: Implement solution
- Document: Record what was done
- Update Status: Mark as resolved
- Close: After verification
Resolution Information
When resolving, record:Closing Faults
After resolution is verified:- Review resolution notes
- Confirm fix is permanent
- Change status to Closed
- Add final notes if needed
