Advanced Scheduler
The Scheduler provides powerful tools for operations managers and dispatchers to optimize team assignments, manage resources, and plan efficient routes. This goes beyond basic scheduling with drag-and-drop interfaces, resource allocation views, and recurring schedule management.Accessing the Scheduler

Drag-and-Drop Scheduling
Assigning Unscheduled Jobs
- Find unscheduled jobs in the left sidebar
- Drag a job to the timeline
- Drop on a technician’s row at the desired time
- Job is assigned and scheduled automatically
Rescheduling Jobs
- Click and hold a scheduled job
- Drag to a new time slot
- Or drag to a different technician’s row
- Release to confirm
Adjusting Duration
- Hover over the edge of a scheduled job
- Cursor changes to resize indicator
- Drag to extend or shorten
- Duration updates in real-time
Swapping Assignments
- Select two jobs (Ctrl/Cmd + click)
- Right-click and select Swap Assignments
- Technicians are exchanged
- Time slots remain the same

Skill-Based Scheduling
Setting Up Skills
Skills are configured in Settings > Team:- Certifications (electrical, gas, refrigerant)
- Equipment expertise (specific brands/models)
- Service types (installation, repair, maintenance)
Filtering by Skills
- Select a job requiring specific skills
- The scheduler highlights qualified technicians
- Non-qualified technicians are grayed out
- Assign only to qualified staff
Skill Warnings
When assigning to non-qualified staff:- Warning indicator appears
- Confirmation required
- Option to proceed or reassign
- Logged for compliance tracking

Geographic View
- Switch to Map View
- See job locations on the map
- View technician current locations
- Identify geographic clusters

- Select a technician
- Click Optimize Route
- Jobs are reordered for efficiency
- Review and confirm new order

Manual Route Adjustment
- View technician’s daily jobs
- Drag jobs to reorder
- Map updates to show new route

Recurring Schedules
Creating Recurring Jobs
- Create or select a job
- Click Set Recurrence
- Configure the pattern:
- Click Apply
- Future jobs are generated

Edit Single Instance:- Open the specific occurrence
- Make changes
- Select “This occurrence only”
- Changes apply to just this job
- Open any occurrence
- Make changes
- Select “This and future occurrences”
- All upcoming jobs update

- Click Cancel Recurrence
- Choose to cancel all future or specific range
- Historical jobs remain
