Creating Inspection Templates
What are Templates?
Templates define standardized checklists for consistent inspections across assets.Building a Template
- Go to Settings > Inspection Templates
- Click Create Template
- Enter template details:
- Template name
- Asset type it applies to
- Description
- Add checklist sections
- Add checklist items
- Save template

Starting an Inspection
From Asset:- Open asset detail
- Click New Inspection
- Select inspection template
- Begin inspection
- Go to Inspections
- Click Start Inspection
- Select asset
- Select template
- Begin inspection
Completing the Checklist
- Work through each section
- For each item:
- Record observation
- Mark pass/fail as appropriate
- Add notes if needed
- Capture photos where required
- Review all items completed
- Submit inspection

Enhance inspection records:- Tap/click Add Note on any item
- Enter observation details
- Click Add Photo to capture image
- Photos attach to specific checklist item

Manual Result Override
Inspectors can override automatic results:- Complete all checklist items
- Review calculated result
- If override needed, select actual result

- Select report format (PDF, summary)
- Report includes:

Scheduling Inspections
Creating Inspection Schedules

- Click Create Schedule
- Configure:

- Frequency (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Start date
- Save schedule

Handling Failed Inspections
When an Inspection Fails
- Complete and submit inspection
- System flags asset as non-compliant
- Create corrective action:
- Click Create Follow-up Job
- Or Report Fault
- Job created with failure details
- After repair, re-inspect
Re-Inspection Workflow
- Corrective work completed
- Open original inspection
- Click Re-Inspect
- Complete failed items only
- If all pass, asset returns to compliant

Template Not Appearing
- Verify template is published/active
- Check template applies to correct asset type
- Confirm you have permission to use template
- Refresh the page
Cannot Submit Inspection
- Check all required items completed
- Verify required photos captured
- Review any validation errors shown
- Ensure connected to network
Photos Not Uploading
- Check device permissions for camera
- Verify network connection
- Try smaller image size
- Save inspection draft and retry
