Navigate to Assets from the sidebar or go to/assets

List View
The asset list displays:Filtering Assets
Quick Filters:- Status: Active, Inactive, Maintenance, Retired
- Type: Filter by asset type
- Location: Filter by site
- Compliance: Compliant, Due Soon, Overdue
- Asset name
- Serial number
- Asset ID
- Barcode
Creating Assets
Quick Create
- Go to Assets
- Click Create Asset
- Enter minimum details:
- Asset name
- Asset type
- Location
- Click Create
Detailed Creation
For complete records:- Click Create Asset
- Complete all sections
- Add photos
- Set compliance dates
- Click Create

Asset Status Management
Changing Status
- Open asset detail
- Click Edit or status field
- Select new status
- Add note explaining change
- Save
Status Transitions
Retiring Assets
When an asset reaches end of life:- Open asset detail
- Change status to Retired
- Enter retirement reason
- Add disposal date (if applicable)
- Save
- Remain in history
- Don’t appear in active lists
- Preserve service history

Troubleshooting
Asset Not Found
- Clear all filters
- Search by serial number
- Check if retired/inactive
- Verify correct team selected
Can’t Delete Asset
Assets with linked records can’t be deleted. Options:- Mark as retired
- Reassign linked records first
Compliance Status Wrong
- Verify certification dates entered
- Check date format
- Ensure expiry is after certification
- Refresh the view
