Creating a Category
- Go to Categories
- Click Add Category
- Select type:
- Income
- Expense
- Enter category name
- Set tax code (optional)
- Add description (optional)
- Click Save

- Go to Categories
- Click on the category
- Update fields as needed
- Click Save
Deactivating Categories
To remove a category from use without deleting:- Open the category
- Toggle Active to off
- Save
- No longer appear in dropdowns
- Existing transactions remain categorized
- Can be reactivated later
