Compliance Schedules

Compliance schedules ensure that compliance tasks are completed on time. This guide explains how to create, manage, and automate compliance scheduling in Taskr.

Overview

Compliance schedules connect your compliance rules to actual work. They determine:
  • When compliance tasks should be performed
  • Who should complete them
  • How tasks are tracked and verified

Accessing Schedules

  1. Navigate to Compliance in the main menu
  2. Select Schedules from the submenu
  3. View schedules in calendar or list format

Creating a Schedule

Step 1: Select Compliance Rule

  1. Click New Schedule
  2. Choose the compliance rule to schedule
  3. Review the rule requirements

Enable automatic job creation:
  1. Toggle Auto-create Jobs on
  2. Select job template (optional)

Template Integration

Link schedules to job templates:
  1. Create or select a job template
  2. Associate template with the schedule
  3. Jobs are created with template details pre-filled
  4. Customize as needed for each instance

Managing Schedules

Viewing Schedule Status

The schedule dashboard shows:
  • Total active schedules
  • Upcoming items this week
  • Overdue items requiring attention
  • Completion rate trends

Editing Schedules

  1. Open the schedule from the list
  2. Click Edit
  3. Modify parameters as needed
  4. Choose to apply changes to:
    • Future items only
    • All items (including pending)
  5. Click Save

Pausing Schedules

Temporarily stop a schedule:
  1. Open schedule details
  2. Click Pause Schedule
  3. Set resume date (optional)
  4. Confirm action
Paused schedules do not generate new items but retain history.

Bulk Schedule Management

Manage multiple schedules at once:
  1. Select schedules using checkboxes
  2. Choose bulk action:
    • Activate
    • Deactivate
    • Delete
    • Change category
  3. Confirm the action

  1. Go to Compliance > Reports
  2. Select report type
  3. Set date range
  4. Apply filters
  5. Click Generate
  6. Export as PDF or CSV

  • Set lead times that allow adequate scheduling flexibility
  • Use auto-scheduling for routine compliance tasks
  • Review overdue items weekly
  • Configure escalation alerts for critical compliance
  • Link schedules to job templates for consistency
  • Regularly audit schedules for accuracy
  • Archive completed schedules annually

Troubleshooting

Schedule Not Triggering

  • Verify the schedule is active
  • Check the start date has passed
  • Review frequency settings
  • Confirm the linked rule is active

Jobs Not Being Created

  • Ensure auto-create is enabled
  • Check assignment rules are valid
  • Verify linked template exists
  • Review error logs for issues

Incorrect Due Dates

  • Check timezone settings
  • Review frequency calculations
  • Verify lead time configuration
